1. What would you change about the final product (the wiki you created) if you were to do the assignment again?

What I would change of the final product is using tables more often because sometimes the pictures got really messed up and was floating everywhere. Also, I would put more links to dictionary.com or other helpful reference websites from difficult words that people can’t understand.

2. Look at some of the other wikis from any class and find a few that you think are done exceptionally well. Tell me the name of the empire and the block, and then explain what you like about their wiki.

Mali Empire- Block D
This wiki space was really good because on the home page, they put a link to each category. They didn’t put a link to Human, Location, Physical, Environment etc. like everyone else did but they put it to Food and Agriculture, Religion, Kings, Trade, Geography etc. That was really useful because some people didn’t know what was going to be in Human, Location, Physical, Environment etc. but if you put in those types of categories you could click on what you were looking for.

Ancient Ghana- Block D
This group did an excellent job because I really liked the idea of linking their name on the homepage to their blog. That was really smart of them and they were thinking out of the box. I also liked that they had more than one picture of the same object which helped you to understand what they were talking about more.

The Swahili Trading States- Block E
What I liked about this group was that they explained each link on the home page in a humorous way. I found it kind of funny which got me excited to see the rest of the wiki space. Also, it was nice that they made a separate page for the authors. I thought that that was really creative. They made a whole page about the background information which was really cool.
