What I have learned about Geography is that it’s not only about maps and locations (Though location is a main branch of Geography) as I always thought it was about. Geography has a lot more to it. It is also about religion, culture, beliefs, countries etc. The main parts of geography though, are Physical Geography and Human Geography. Physical Geography is mostly about the Earth’s environment and its atmosphere. Human Geography is about people and what they do. The most interesting fact that I’ve learned though, is that Greeks are the ones who first really studied Geography.
